I purchased the version of CA Internet Security Plus 2008 (CA ISP) that includes "Bonus PC optimization software." What features does that include?

I currently have Norton Internet security (NIS) and Systemworks. Will your PC optimization software replace all or part of the functionality of Systemworks? My primary interest is in the utilities that check & repair the registry, optimize the hard disk, clean up clutter, and defragment the hard drive. If CA ISP won’t match that functionality, I want to keep Systemworks and replace NIS with CA ISP. Would that create any conflicts?

I am willing to do away with Systemworks if your product will compare.

I tried to use your Support feature and received an error message after 3 attempts. I have posted that error message already.

Hey reinyb,

If you install the Internet Security Suite and also the PC optimizer then you will need to uninstall all Norton software from your computer.

The CA Internet Security Suite will replace the features provided by The Norton Suite
and the PC optimizer should adequately replace Systemworks.

For information on PC Optimizer please refer to the link below;

Thanks,

hi reinyb,

about the PC pitstop optimizer features, please refer to: http://www.pcpitstop.com/store/service.asp
i think the systemworks and pc optimizer quite similar. you can try to use CA ISP and systemworks, coz pc pitstop is not really CA product, it's just bundled with CA ISP.

cheers!
