sick computer since install 2008

Since I renewed and installed 2008 CA my computer is soooo slow when it doesn't stall all together.
At one point I had to call Dell because it wouldn't even start up at all. I have installed a fix but it hasn't helped
much. It was better for a short while but now is slowing down again.

what is the size of your computer's RAM? have you tried to re-installed the product?
