If you have utorrent, Anti-Spyware will recognize it's folder under C:\Documents and Settting \*your name*\application data\utorrent as a "trojan" spyware.
As I wrote about on another topic, I deleted that folder, and then when I ran the anti-spyware again, it didnt find anything. All was supposedly clean.
Then, just to see if there was a sinister motive from this company, I created a folder called utorrent in the same location where I just deleted the read utorrent folder. I didnt put anything it in, and when anti-spyware ran again....sure enough, it claimed I had another Trojan.
What the #### is that??? Sounds like CA is trying to "Punish" us for using utorrent? Perhaps they are "in $$$" with whomever is pressuring them to exert some negativity towards utorrent users?
This is unacceptable.
Boycott!

Hello,
The Utorrent client contains Adware, which is picked up by CA Anti-Spyware.
If you wish to use Utorrent, you can still do that with CA installed, follow the instructions below to exclude it,
- Install Utorrent
- Run an Anti-Spyware scan
- Place a tick next to Utorrent after it has been detected as spyware
- Click on Exclude Selected Spyware
Now Utorrent will be added to the exclusions list
Thanks,

Many thanks.
However, as I posted in the "errors" section, my system crashes when realtime anti-virus is running at the same time as utorrent. We did a number of experiments until we came to that conclusion. With utorrent turned off, no crash. With it turned on, a crash happens at least once per 24 hour period. A kind individual has been helping me with this problem, at least as far as figuring out that it is indeed the CA suite that is causing these crashes, but there has been no info as to what changes must take place to run both programs at once.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.

I haven't heard of any problems with the Anti-Virus and Utorrent,
There is a known issue with the firewall which is documented below;

To resolve your crashing problem if it's the Anti-Virus real time scanner causing the issue you
could exclude utorrent.exe from being scanned by the real time scanner,
however this is not advised.

I run both also and have run both for the past 6 months with no issues. Sorry I take that back, Utorrent crashed once, but it wasn't with the AV scanning or anything, just crashed. Make sure you're up to date with the latest Utorrent, that's my only suggestion.....
