I do not understand why if I havent renewed my membership or whatever, and don't want to renew. Why do I come home and find 56 programs running and there all from you people? Telling me I need to renew now!If I don't answer the door don't keep knocking. Would you please quit filling my computer with crap. subscribers beware!!!!!!!!!

If you don't want to use the CA product, you will need to uninstall it from your computer.

The message you describe is simply a notification telling you your software is out of date.
This is an important feature because it lets users know if they are not protected by Anti-Virus software.
