Hello everybody. After any kinds of scans, if it finds stuff, it quarantines it. This process is VERY slow!! I have 3.5 G of RAM memory. It takes about the same amount of time for it to quarantine than to do any type of a scan. What needs to be adjusted here??

Dear ilyabyk83,
There could be a few issues here,
Answering the following questions could help to get to the bottom of the problem
- What Operating System do you have?
- Are you running 2007 or 2008 CA software?
- Do you have any conflicting security software on your computer?
You may have an infection on your computer which is difficult to quarantine, what is the name of the virus', spyware that are being picked up by the scans?
Additionally the installation may be corrupt, and you may need to reinstall it.
To test this you can try running a scan in safe mode and attempt to quarantine to see if that makes any difference.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for your response.
1. Running Windows Vista Ultimate
2. Version 9.0.0.170
3. This is the only security suite on my PC

No worries.
So now you need to find out whether you have an infection issue, or a corruption.
To rule out corruption you can simply reinstall the software.
To find out whether its an infection issue you can run both an Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware scan, and post the infection names here.
Please let me know if you need further instruction as to how to do this :)

I'm going to completely remove it. And install it all over. Do you offer trials to download?? I can try that too??

Sure, you can download trial products from the following link;
http://ca.com/us/software-trials.aspx
However this will only allow you to scan your computer, but not remove infections.
I suggest that you uninstall your CA software and then reinstall it and then attempt the scans again.

If you have downloaded the trial software then it would have installed it with a trial key.
You need to download the proper file and install that with your original license key.

No worries, if you need help finding the download link then if you tell me what product you have i'll post it for you.
Also make sure you uninstall the trial software before you install the full version.
Other than that you shouldn't have any trouble.
Sorry it took so long to reply.
